Frankly about impressions

Usually we see only the final product and do not think about what path, conventionally, a roll of fabric goes to turn into clothes we are used to.
At Etnodim, first of all, I like the philosophy of the brand. The project "Embroidered shirts made by people" is generally a superclass. Even when I went to Etnodim, I was not too worried, because I was already familiar with everyone in absentia (I read about each of the team, watched short videos on Instagram photos).
And on this day, the picture came to life.
I was impressed by the idea of the "DRABYNA" project that everyone has the opportunity to bring their ideas to life. It's nice that I also had such an opportunity.
Where do ideas come from
I usually take inspiration from Pinterest on purpose, but you never know what might spark you. Everything that surrounds me at any moment can become an impulse to create something new (it can be people, weather, caviar in a jar, or even a fluffy blanket that I see every day, one day it can become part of any subject of my embroidery It's hard to explain (smiles).
I follow trends - it is necessary for my work. I love getting positive feedback from clients, I love exhibitions, psychology and chocolate eclairs. Ever since childhood, I love to customize clothes. So, old, boring things can get many more compliments, I know that. Recently I realized that this is also about reasonable consumption.
And it often happens that even new clothes want to be made special, personalized. I know that Levi's has its own Tailor Shop and Print Bar that work at festivals: in them you can attach patches, spikes and apply prints or airbrushing to the brand's things. At Prada you can create your own shoe designs, and at Gucci you can decorate your bags with patches. It's a thrill!
What is the main thing in the workspace?
My favorite place to draw is the floor (this is from the days of the dormitory, when the table is not a workplace and you have to get out of the situation). Therefore, I endure everything that may have at least something to do with my sketches on the floor and thus a sketch-drawing session takes place, only the pentagram is missing (laughs).
Embroidery for me is meditation. In fact, this is the same drawing, only with threads (or in general with something that one way or another can be sewn onto the canvas).
Each new member is a new world. Try yourself in the Drabyna project and it will become closer than you think.
