This piece is an interpretation of the black “Shining” vest. We combined the familiar silhouette with a rich shade to create a more expressive and festive look.

The vest is designed to rest on the left shoulder and fasten with thin ties on the right. From the waistline, it is finished with “laptsi”, a traditional decorative feature of vests in western Ukraine. Along with their decorative purpose, laptsi also served a practical function, keeping the fabric smooth and ensuring the vest stays neatly in place during movement.
