Effective Date: August 18, 2025
Welcome to Etnodim. We specialise in embroidered clothing and are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018).
We are the data controller for the personal data we process about you. Our contact details are provided at the end of this Policy. By using our Site, you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you disagree, please discontinue use immediately.
Key Definitions
- Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual (e.g., name, email, phone number, IP address).
- Data Subject: Any individual whose personal data is processed (this includes you as a user).
- Cookies: Small text files stored on your device to enhance Site functionality.
- UK GDPR: The UK General Data Protection Regulation, which sets out rules for processing personal data in the UK.
Age Restrictions
Our Site is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without appropriate consent, in compliance with the UK GDPR. The age of consent for online services in the UK is 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us immediately.
Information We Collect
- Provided by You:
- Name, email, phone number, shipping address, and payment details when placing an order.
- Communications (e.g., customer support inquiries).
- Automatically Collected:
- IP address, device type, browser, and browsing behaviour.
- Cookies (you can manage preferences via your browser settings or our cookie consent tool).
How We Use Your Information
We process your personal data on the following lawful bases under the UK GDPR:
- To process orders and deliver our embroidered products (based on contract necessity).
- To communicate about orders, promotions, and updates (based on your consent, where required).
- To improve Site functionality and user experience (based on our legitimate interests).
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud (based on legal obligation or legitimate interests).
Sharing Your Information
We only share data with trusted third parties necessary to fulfil your orders, such as:
- Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
- Shipping carriers (e.g., Royal Mail or international equivalents).
- Marketing platforms (with opt-out options).
VIRTUAL TRY-ON
- A virtual fitting room powered by PRIMIR.AI is available on the website. Your photos are transmitted to the platform to generate a visualization of how the selected item may look on you. Data is processed in accordance with PRIMIR.AI’s policies and rules (Terms of Use and Privacy Policy).
- By uploading a photo, you confirm that you hold the rights to it and that it does not infringe upon the rights of any third parties.
- The virtual try-on is for demonstration purposes only. It helps you visualize how an item may look but does not guarantee an exact result. The try-on results do not constitute a product description and may not be considered a recommendation to purchase. The final decision to place an order is made by you independently.
- Images in the try-on may differ from the actual appearance of the product due to photo quality, lighting conditions, device settings, or the specific features of PRIMIR.AI algorithms. The try-on does not alter the physical characteristics of a person or a product and is not used for biometric identification.
- The Seller has technical access to the try-on results solely for the operation of the service and does not use them separately.
- The Seller does not develop PRIMIR.AI and is not responsible for its technical features, algorithms, or any possible inaccuracies in the try-on results.
These third parties act as processors on our behalf. Some may be located outside the UK (e.g., in the US or EU). Where data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK-approved standard contractual clauses or reliance on adequacy decisions. We do not sell your personal data.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures (e.g., encryption, secure servers) to protect your data in line with UK GDPR requirements. However, no online method is 100% secure.
