"Your own shirt"
The clothes from the "Svoya Shirt" collection tell about the special features of the Southern and Eastern regions of Ukraine through the language of embroidery.
In our previous collections, we talked about regions that have stable embroidery motifs. However, there are areas that have suffered from Russification for decades, mainly the southern and eastern territories of Ukraine. Their inherent embroidery has hardly been preserved, and most of these territories are currently under occupation.
Our design team has embodied the nature, architecture and art characteristic of the area in the embroidery. In this way, we aim to leave a modern legacy for future generations.
The gray collar “Sailboat” is embroidered with stone embroideries of Nova Kakhovka. Pryazovia region.
The collection is imbued with warm memories of home. We want the clothes from Svoya Shirt to become a homecoming for those who are far away from it and for those who have lost it.
The campaign was shot by photographer Andriy Gray in a private house in Irpin. In some photographs, the background is the holes in the walls that have been repaired after shelling - the traces of the former occupation.
