“Trait”: The Spring Collection by Etnodim
A curated collection centered on the unfolding of form: that precise moment when an internal state manifests outwardly.
Trait serves as a mark of recognition, defining the moment of identification.
The collection explores two natural states. The Shell represents protection and composure, centering on internal processes and self-reflection. The Bloom embodies openness, expression, and connection with the world.
These states are mirrored in the architecture of the garments, which transition from closed, structured silhouettes to lighter, more fluid forms.
The garments
The garments are designed to respond to the shifting conditions: cold, rain, wind, and the eventual arrival of warmth. Each piece carries its own history. The embroidery is inspired by the diverse world of Ukrainian decorative arts, including woodblock printing, carpet ornamentation, traditional cross-stitch, and mural artistry.
