In early September, we launched a new project for young designers DRABYNA. During this time we have received dozens of works, and today we are ready to introduce you to one of the participants whose work has already begun to be implemented jointly with the ETNODIM team.
Briefly about the project.
DRABYNA is a platform of opportunities for young designers and creative people. Participants can create their own clothing models on a competitive basis and transfer them to us by the 25th of each month.

So, we introduce the participant and tell how the process of interaction with the brand occurs.
Katya Bushtruk came from Kharkov to get to the production of the ETNODIM brand, to discover new opportunities for transforming the pattern into embroidery and to get to know the team. Her sketch and ornament were chosen for implementation within the project among the large number of works that we received over the course of two months, and continue to receive.
“It’s very warm and inspired. It feels like putting your soul into work. From this atmosphere and people you are inspired and want to work on new ideas,” Katya shares.
Katya is an artist of monumental painting. She creates murals, works with stained-glass windows and herbariums. Previously, she never created clothes and ornaments, so DRABYNA is her successful debut and new experience in the field of fashion.
Artists have always influenced fashion. At different times, they collaborated with various brands and dictated trends. For example, Salvador Dali, after meeting with designer Lisa Schiaparelli, began to experiment with clothes. And designer Jean-Paul Gaultier created a whole collection inspired by Frida Kahlo's corsets.
Therefore, the participation of the young artist in the DRABYNA project is an interesting collaboration for both sides. This is a tendency for cooperation with artists, which we, as a brand, would like to develop in Ukraine.
And while we are preparing an article for you, the participant Katya Bushtruk together with the designer ETNODIM Lily Kasyanchuk and other team members continue to work on a new model, create patterns, prepare embroidery. And very soon, we present you a sketch of Katya, but for now, we keep the intrigue.
