White embroidered shirt with colorful embroidery Boryviter
A white shirt with colorful embroidery. Dedicated to the ethnographic region of Pryazovia and inspired by Alla Horska's Mariupol mosaic panel "Boryviter".
The mosaic was created under censorship: all art of the time had to meet the requirements of socialist realism. But even under such conditions, Alla Horska managed to show a clearly defined Ukrainian face.
Currently, the "Boryviter" panel is partially destroyed by the Russian occupiers. We painted a mosaic, stylized it, passed it through our own vision and applied "Mariupol" to the embroidered shirt to preserve the memory of the lost cultural heritage.
The blouse is widened to the bottom. Voluminous raglan sleeves. The sleeves are gathered at the bottom with wide cuffs that fasten with buttons. The front and back have yokes. V-neckline with turn-down collar on the front.
Fabric - linen
Threads - cotton
Embroidery technique - satin stitch
